Evolving

Evolving: to undergo evolutionary change. To develop or unfold.

We all have a journey—some different from others. In my journey, I have grown little by little—each season offering new opportunities and options for growth. Evolving means developing gradually or making someone or something change and expand over time.

Evolving, however, has been something that has taken place in my private moments of life through painful experiences and quiet victories. It's been a journey, and sometimes a lonely one.

Although applause is kind, what matters most is the ability to encourage and praise yourself during the stretches when you want to give up; that's essential. It’s the ability to hear the quiet, small voice of the Father saying, “you were created for this”… it’s tuning into His voice while ignoring the other voices on the way.

Evolving. Though it can be inspired by community and supported by friends, it remains a personal, individual journey that one chooses to undertake. All of who I am is because of God. Yes, I did the work and endured every season, but I would be nothing without Him.

As I keep evolving, May God be glorified every step of the way. May my life reflect all of who He has destined me to be.

I encourage you, as I encourage myself, to keep EVOLVING. The night seasons are necessary. He is with you.
